Women's Safety

Women's Safety was my final major project in college, I set myself the brief after the passing of Sarah Everard, her death was the catalyst for my project I felt the need to create a project spreading awareness about women safety. This project was very important to me as it felt very close to home as myself and close friends have all been victims of sexual harassment. I decided to create a T-shirt clothing line in hope that it would create a community and show support in the movement. The T-shirts had heat press printed Photoshop illustrations alongside Quotes from girls expressing their personal experiences, I wanted the T-shirts to showcase how women feel everyday.

The final part of the brief was to hold an exhibition showcasing my work. This project taught me a lot, from branding to designing the shirts.I looked closely into fashion trends so it would appeal to the younger demographic making sure it was gender neutral design.
